As an employee of More Time Financial Allan’s aim is to provide his clients with quality advice and strategies whilst assessing their current and future needs. He also believes that coordinating with other professionals such as accountants and solicitors will improve the outcomes. He feels strongly about helping and educating clients/families in order to improve their financial position.
After various roles as an office administrator, internal auditor and branch manager for a finance and leasing company, Allan started his career with Southern Life in Durban, South Africa. Allan
and his family immigrated to Australia in 1996 and he started as a planner with GIO Australia in Southport. He joined the Hillross dealer group in 2004, became a Certified Financial Planner in
2000 and helped establish the Tweed Financial Planning Office. Prior to taking extended leave, he was providing advice to a range of clients including Aged Care entrants and their families.
He has served as an Officer in the South African Defence Force during the pre-Mandela years. He is a past president of the Tallebudgera Primary P&C, past treasurer of the Gold Coast District Rugby Union Referees Assoc. He has previously completed a number of Pro Bono projects on behalf of the Cancer Council. He is also a keen bird photographer, caravanner and keeps fit by cycling, playing tennis and golf.
Allan holds a Diploma of Financial Planning. He is currently an associate member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia and is a Commissioner of Declarations (QLD).
